Preston and I love surprises. He routinely asks for surprises when I leave to the market, while we order at the fast-food drive thru, when I depart on a trip – you get the point. I think it is hilarious and I have found myself always craving surprises too, like last week when we were shopping and I spotted a Crate and Barrel outlet. They don’t match a single thing in our home – and yet I adore them!

I have no idea what I am going to use them for – Soup and sandwich servers? Easter jelly beans? Holders of colored-easter eggs? If you can’t tell, I am in the Easter/ spring decorating mood and plan on making some seasonal changes around our home this weekend. I am very much looking forward to Easter this year – P and I exchange Easter baskets full of lots of fun (you guessed it) surprises! We also get to celebrate with one my best friends, Lauren, who is coming to spend the weekend with us! And, most importantly, Easter church service is my top 5 favorite things in the world. We are actively looking for a new church in San Diego North County, if you have any recommendations we would love to know!
